Project overview

One brand, every touchpoint

Techno Exports is an export house; Fibre Family is its coir and coco-peat brand, exporting horticultural substrates from Kerala. A single retail label grew into an ongoing partnership covering every surface the brand appears on.

The brief

A brand exporting dozens of product lines needs one consistent story — compliant on a Russian retail shelf, credible in a technical catalogue, unmistakable on a trade-show wall — in exactly that order.

The outcome

A print-ready Cyrillic label and a photorealistic 3D render that replaced a physical product shoot, then the same system extended across a 20+ line catalogue, segment posters, a Cultivate 2024 booth and stationery.

01Front label

Front label

Seedling hero photograph, the “be with nature” leaf mark, and a three-step brick + water = soil diagram — the transformation shown before the specification.

How it came together

3 steps, start to finish.

01

Label design, mapped to regulation first

Gathered every mandatory Russian-market element — addresses, weight, composition, barcode — before laying out the front-face leaf mark, seedling photograph and a brick + water = soil diagram replacing a paragraph of instructions.

02

3D render replaces the photoshoot

Rendered the finished label onto a photorealistic shrink-wrapped brick — front, back, stacked — producing packaging approval and a marketing hero image with no physical shoot.

03

System extended to catalogue, booth & stationery

Built a technical catalogue across 20+ product lines, segment posters for hobby and landscaping buyers, the full Cultivate 2024 booth panel set, and leadership business cards — same leaf mark, same green system throughout.

02Back label

Back label

Applications and eco-benefits in two columns, closing with photographic proof across seedling trays, houseplants and terrarium use — plus the full compliance footer.

Design highlights

A system that holds from an 85mm card to a three-metre wall

The same handful of elements appear in every format — the whole reason a business card and a booth panel read as the same company.

Palette

Deep leaf green #1B5E20 and lime accent #8DC63F over warm cream, with coco-peat brown carrying the packaging texture.

Typography

A bold Cyrillic-optimised display weight for product names, a medium weight for subheads, and a regular weight for dense, table-friendly spec pages.

Five constants

The leaf mark, green-on-cream palette, natural coir photography, QR contact points, and ISO 9001:2015/OMRI trust marks — present whatever the format or language.

033D render

3D render

Front, back and stacked angles on a natural wood surface, doing duty as both packaging approval and the hero image on the client's e-commerce listings.

Approach

Decisions made for how buyers actually read

None of these pieces get read cover to cover. Each was designed around the thirty seconds it actually gets.

Transformation before specification

The label leads with what the product produces — healthy seedlings — before explaining what compressed coco peat even is.

A diagram instead of instructions

Three pictures replace a paragraph: brick, water, finished soil — no translation risk, no reading required.

Drawn to fabricator spec

Booth panels were built to the display system's real dimensions rather than designed first and cropped later — where most exhibition graphics lose their composition.

04Catalogue spreads

Catalogue spreads

Packing-and-loadability tables on a consistent left-hand rail, photography-led blocks for visual identification, and a new-product spread for door mat patterns.

05Segment posters

Segment posters

A labelled product wall for hobby growers; coir logs and geotextiles at full texture scale for landscaping and civil engineering buyers.

06Booth panels

Booth panels

Hobby growers, home garden and horticulture photography panels, plus a “trusted globally since 2003” side panel with hand-illustrated produce line art.
