Project overview

Making an industrial challenger brand feel premium

Hutchinson's Spray Booths manufacture the SprayFlex Pro, a made-to-measure UK-built retractable spray booth. As a challenger brand against established players, they needed a page that felt high-end while standing out with bold design.

The brief

A single, high-converting page led by a video sales letter above the fold — client's own product photography, no confirmed logo yet, full freedom on colour. The instruction: “UX friendly, slick and BOLD.”

The outcome

Selected as the Gold-winning design from the field of entries. The dark, industrial-luxury direction went on to inform the brand's live production site at retractable-spray-booth.co.uk.

01VSL hero + CTA

VSL hero + CTA

Video sales letter resized to sit fully in the first viewport on a phone screen, not cropped or pushed below the fold.

How it came together

3 steps, start to finish.

01

Bold, industrial-luxury direction

Built around the client's own reference photography rather than stock imagery, with the VSL placed directly above the fold and a dark charcoal base with a bold accent — refined enough to read as premium, bold enough to stand out.

02

Mobile designed alongside desktop

Full mobile layouts submitted alongside desktop per the client's explicit request — critical for a VSL-led page where most traffic arrives on a phone.

03

Contest win → live brand direction

Selected as the Gold-winning design; the visual direction went on to shape the brand's live site.

02Product story stacked

Product story stacked

Trust-strip claims collapsed into a swipeable row rather than a cramped wrapped list.

Design highlights

Landing page anatomy

Every section of the page, in order, each one moving the visitor toward a quote.

Pre-fold video sales letter

The VSL sits directly above the fold with a single bold CTA — “Get A Price Now” — so the pitch is the very first thing a visitor sees.

Trust strip

A scrolling strip of core claims — durable steel frame, flame retardant, rapid delivery — reinforcing credibility immediately under the hero.

Quote request form

A direct, low-friction form paired with a named sales contact — turning interest into a real conversation fast.

03Quote form

Quote form

Fields stacked full-width with large tap targets for fast completion on-site, gloves on.

Approach

Every element pointed at one goal

A lead-gen page with two CTAs has no CTA. This one has exactly one.

One primary conversion path

A single repeated CTA — “Get A Price Now” — rather than competing offers, keeping the page focused purely on lead generation.

Lead with proof, not adjectives

Durability claims backed by real product photography and named specs — steel frame, flame-retardant sheeting — rather than generic marketing language.

Human contact, not just a form

A named sales contact with a photo and direct booking link sits beside the quote form, reducing the “black hole” feeling of a typical contact form.

04Extraction system

Extraction system

A dedicated section on the mobile extraction system — positioned as the technical differentiator against basic inflatable booths.

05Features grid

Features grid

Bold iconography-led feature grid summarising the booth's core specifications at a glance.

06Repeated CTA

Repeated CTA

“Get A Price Now” repeated at natural thumb-reach points down the page.
